Connect PagerDuty
Incidents from your PagerDuty account, analysis-ready.
What data it brings
- incidents: Incidents across all time, newest first (the latest 5000 are read): status, urgency, created and resolved dates, and the service id and name and the priority (no titles, notes or responders).
A question you can ask
“How many incidents are there by urgency?”
Ask it in your own words. You get the answer, with the steps that made it.
How to connect it
You connect with a key you create in your PagerDuty account. It takes a few minutes.
- In your MCP Analytics account, open Connectors and choose PagerDuty. The setup form opens there.
- In PagerDuty open Integrations, then API Access Keys, and choose Create New API Key.
- Tick Read-only API Key, give it a description, and copy the key. It is shown once.
- Paste it into the setup form. The connection only reads incidents.
PagerDuty help page for this step →
We test the connection before we save it, so you know right away if a step was missed.
What we keep, and how to disconnect
We keep the key or login you give us, encrypted, and use it only to read the data you ask about. Other accounts cannot see your connections. To stop, open Connectors in your account and choose Remove on the PagerDuty row; that deletes the saved key. You can also cancel the key in PagerDuty itself.
Questions
Will this change anything in my PagerDuty account?
No. We only read. Nothing in PagerDuty is changed.
Can I use a file instead?
Yes. Export a CSV from PagerDuty and upload it. Connecting just saves you the export each time.
Can I combine PagerDuty with my other data?
Yes. Connect each source, then ask a question that names both.
