Connect Freshdesk
Support tickets from your Freshdesk account, analysis-ready.
What data it brings
- tickets: Tickets: status code (Open 2, Pending 3, Resolved 4, Closed 5), priority code (Low 1, Medium 2, High 3, Urgent 4), source code (Email 1, Portal 2, Phone 3, Chat 7, Feedback Widget 9, Outbound Email 10), type, dates, and group, requester, agent and company ids (no subject, text, names or emails).
A question you can ask
“How many tickets are there by status code?”
Ask it in your own words. You get the answer, with the steps that made it.
How to connect it
You connect with a key you create in your Freshdesk account. It takes a few minutes.
- In your MCP Analytics account, open Connectors and choose Freshdesk. The setup form opens there.
- In Freshdesk open your profile picture, then Profile Settings.
- On the right, choose View API Key (you may be asked to solve a captcha) and copy the key.
- Paste the key into the setup form. In the second box type the single letter X (Freshdesk ignores that part).

We test the connection before we save it, so you know right away if a step was missed.
What we keep, and how to disconnect
We keep the key or login you give us, encrypted, and use it only to read the data you ask about. Other accounts cannot see your connections. To stop, open Connectors in your account and choose Remove on the Freshdesk row; that deletes the saved key. You can also cancel the key in Freshdesk itself.
Questions
Will this change anything in my Freshdesk account?
No. We only read. Nothing in Freshdesk is changed.
Can I use a file instead?
Yes. Export a CSV from Freshdesk and upload it. Connecting just saves you the export each time.
Can I combine Freshdesk with my other data?
Yes. Connect each source, then ask a question that names both.
