Connect Zendesk
Support tickets from your Zendesk account, analysis-ready.
What data it brings
- tickets: Tickets: status, priority, type, channel, created and updated dates, and requester, assignee, group and organization ids, newest update first (no subject, text, names or emails).
A question you can ask
“How many tickets are there by status?”
Ask it in your own words. You get the answer, with the steps that made it.
How to connect it
You connect with a key you create in your Zendesk account. It takes a few minutes.
- In your MCP Analytics account, open Connectors and choose Zendesk. The setup form opens there.
- In Zendesk open Admin Center, then Apps and integrations, then APIs, then Zendesk API, and turn on Token access.
- Choose Add API token, give it a description, and copy the token. It is shown once.
- into the setup form, type the login as your agent email address followed by /token (for example [email protected]/token), and paste the token.

We test the connection before we save it, so you know right away if a step was missed.
What we keep, and how to disconnect
We keep the key or login you give us, encrypted, and use it only to read the data you ask about. Other accounts cannot see your connections. To stop, open Connectors in your account and choose Remove on the Zendesk row; that deletes the saved key. You can also cancel the key in Zendesk itself.
Questions
Will this change anything in my Zendesk account?
No. We only read. Nothing in Zendesk is changed.
Can I use a file instead?
Yes. Export a CSV from Zendesk and upload it. Connecting just saves you the export each time.
Can I combine Zendesk with my other data?
Yes. Connect each source, then ask a question that names both.
