Connect Intercom
Support conversations from your Intercom workspace, analysis-ready.
What data it brings
- conversations: Conversations: state, open flag, priority, and created and updated dates (no message text, names or emails).
A question you can ask
“How many conversations are there by state?”
Ask it in your own words. You get the answer, with the steps that made it.
How to connect it
You connect with a key you create in your Intercom account. It takes a few minutes.
- In your MCP Analytics account, open Connectors and choose Intercom. The setup form opens there.
- In Intercom open Settings, then Integrations, then Developer Hub, and choose your app (or create one).
- Under Authentication copy the access token. Give the app read-only permissions.
- Paste the token into the setup form. The connection only reads data.
Intercom help page for this step →
We test the connection before we save it, so you know right away if a step was missed.
What we keep, and how to disconnect
We keep the key or login you give us, encrypted, and use it only to read the data you ask about. Other accounts cannot see your connections. To stop, open Connectors in your account and choose Remove on the Intercom row; that deletes the saved key. You can also cancel the key in Intercom itself.
Questions
Will this change anything in my Intercom account?
No. We only read. Nothing in Intercom is changed.
Can I use a file instead?
Yes. Export a CSV from Intercom and upload it. Connecting just saves you the export each time.
Can I combine Intercom with my other data?
Yes. Connect each source, then ask a question that names both.
