How to connect it
You connect with a key you create in your Mixpanel account. It takes a few minutes.
- In your MCP Analytics account, open Connectors and choose Mixpanel. The setup form opens there.
- In Mixpanel open Organization Settings, then Service Accounts, and choose Add Service Account.
- Give it the Consumer role on the one project you want to read, and copy the username and the secret (shown once).
- Paste both into the setup form, and type your project ID in the setup form.

We test the connection before we save it, so you know right away if a step was missed.
What we keep, and how to disconnect
We keep the key or login you give us, encrypted, and use it only to read the data you ask about. Other accounts cannot see your connections. To stop, open Connectors in your account and choose Remove on the Mixpanel row; that deletes the saved key. You can also cancel the key in Mixpanel itself.
Questions
Will this change anything in my Mixpanel account?
No. We only read. Nothing in Mixpanel is changed.
Can I use a file instead?
Yes. Export a CSV from Mixpanel and upload it. Connecting just saves you the export each time.
Can I combine Mixpanel with my other data?
Yes. Connect each source, then ask a question that names both.
