Connect Amplitude
The events your Amplitude project tracks, with their totals, analysis-ready.
What data it brings
- events: Event types: name, display name, totals, and whether it is hidden or deleted.
A question you can ask
“Which event types have the largest totals?”
Ask it in your own words. You get the answer, with the steps that made it.
How to connect it
You connect with a key you create in your Amplitude account. It takes a few minutes.
- In your MCP Analytics account, open Connectors and choose Amplitude. The setup form opens there.
- In Amplitude open Settings, then Organization settings, then Projects, and choose the project to read.
- Copy the API key and the Secret key from the project's General tab.
- Paste both into the setup form. This connection reads US-region projects.

We test the connection before we save it, so you know right away if a step was missed.
What we keep, and how to disconnect
We keep the key or login you give us, encrypted, and use it only to read the data you ask about. Other accounts cannot see your connections. To stop, open Connectors in your account and choose Remove on the Amplitude row; that deletes the saved key. You can also cancel the key in Amplitude itself.
Questions
Will this change anything in my Amplitude account?
No. We only read. Nothing in Amplitude is changed.
Can I use a file instead?
Yes. Export a CSV from Amplitude and upload it. Connecting just saves you the export each time.
Can I combine Amplitude with my other data?
Yes. Connect each source, then ask a question that names both.
