Connect Google Analytics 4
Website traffic and user behavior - sessions, users, events, conversions, and custom dimensions.
What data it brings
- report: GA4 reporting - traffic, users, sessions, events, conversions
- realtime: Real-time active users and events
A question you can ask
“What is the total of sessions?”
Ask it in your own words. You get the answer, with the steps that made it.
How to connect it
You connect with a Google service account you share your property with. It takes a few minutes.
- In your MCP Analytics account, open Connectors and choose Google Analytics 4. The setup form opens there.
- Go to Google Cloud Console > IAM & Admin > Service Accounts
- Create a service account (or select an existing one)
- Click Keys > Add Key > Create new key > JSON
- Download the .json key file
- In GA4, go to Admin > Property Access Management and add the service account email as Viewer

We test the connection before we save it, so you know right away if a step was missed.
What we keep, and how to disconnect
We keep the key or login you give us, encrypted, and use it only to read the data you ask about. Other accounts cannot see your connections. To stop, open Connectors in your account and choose Remove on the Google Analytics 4 row; that deletes the saved key. You can also cancel the key in Google Analytics 4 itself.
Questions
Will this change anything in my Google Analytics 4 account?
No. We only read. Nothing in Google Analytics 4 is changed.
Can I use a file instead?
Yes. Export a CSV from Google Analytics 4 and upload it. Connecting just saves you the export each time.
Can I combine Google Analytics 4 with my other data?
Yes. Connect each source, then ask a question that names both.
