Stripe revenue and failed payments analysis
Look at what you were paid, what failed, what was refunded, and how long subscribers stay.
The question
“How much did we earn, how many payments failed, and how long do subscribers last?”
Ask it in your own words. You get the answer, with the steps that made it.
What in your data answers it
These are the fields the connector reads.
| Stream | Field | What it is |
|---|---|---|
| charges | date, amount, currency | When and how much. |
| charges | status, paid, refunded, amount_refunded | Whether the payment went through, and what was given back. |
| subscriptions | status, plan_amount, interval | What each subscriber pays, and how often. |
| subscriptions | canceled_at and tenure_days | When a subscriber left, and how long they stayed. |
| balance_transactions | gross, fee, net | What you kept after fees. |
Charges default to the last 30 days. Ask for a longer window to compare months.
A real sample report
This sample report runs survival analysis on a public customer set (IBM Telco). It is not Stripe data. A Stripe subscription has the same shape: how long a customer stayed, and whether they left.

- “How many charges failed last month, and for which amounts?”

Questions
Can it show failed payments?
Yes. Each charge has a status and a paid flag, so you can count and group the ones that failed.
Can it show how long subscribers stay?
Yes. Subscriptions carry the day they were canceled and their length of stay, which is what survival analysis needs.
Does it change my Stripe account?
No. We only read.
