Connect Stripe
Charges, subscriptions, and balance transactions from your Stripe account, analysis-ready.
What data it brings
- charges: Individual charges: date, amount, currency, status, refund state.
- subscriptions: Subscriptions with plan amount, interval, status, period dates, canceled_at (blank while active), and tenure_days (created to canceled_at, or to now).
- balance transactions: Ledger-grade revenue: gross, fee, and net per transaction (refund-aware).
A question you can ask
“What is the average tenure_days by status?”
Ask it in your own words. You get the answer, with the steps that made it.
How to connect it
You connect with a key you create in your Stripe account. It takes a few minutes.
- In your MCP Analytics account, open Connectors and choose Stripe. The setup form opens there.
- In the Stripe Dashboard open Developers → API keys.
- Create a RESTRICTED key with read access to Charges, Subscriptions, and Balance transactions.
- Paste the key (rk_live_...) into the setup form. A full secret key works but grants more access than needed.

We test the connection before we save it, so you know right away if a step was missed.
What we keep, and how to disconnect
We keep the key or login you give us, encrypted, and use it only to read the data you ask about. Other accounts cannot see your connections. To stop, open Connectors in your account and choose Remove on the Stripe row; that deletes the saved key. You can also cancel the key in Stripe itself.
Questions
Will this change anything in my Stripe account?
No. We only read. Nothing in Stripe is changed.
Can I use a file instead?
Yes. Export a CSV from Stripe and upload it. Connecting just saves you the export each time.
Can I combine Stripe with my other data?
Yes. Connect each source, then ask a question that names both.
