Connect Airtable

One table from your Airtable base, with the columns your table has, analysis-ready.

What data it brings

  • records: The records of the table you named: one column per field in the table, plus the record id and the created date.

A question you can ask

“How many records were created per month?”

Ask it in your own words. You get the answer, with the steps that made it.

How to connect it

You connect with a key you create in your Airtable account. It takes a few minutes.

  1. In your MCP Analytics account, open Connectors and choose Airtable. The setup form opens there.
  2. At airtable.com/create/tokens choose Create new token.
  3. Name it, add the scope data.records:read, and under Access choose only the base you want to analyse.
  4. Create the token and copy it (it starts with pat). It is shown once.
  5. Paste it into the setup form, and type the base ID and the table name in the setup form.

We test the connection before we save it, so you know right away if a step was missed.

What we keep, and how to disconnect

We keep the key or login you give us, encrypted, and use it only to read the data you ask about. Other accounts cannot see your connections. To stop, open Connectors in your account and choose Remove on the Airtable row; that deletes the saved key. You can also cancel the key in Airtable itself.

Questions

Will this change anything in my Airtable account?

No. We only read. Nothing in Airtable is changed.

Can I use a file instead?

Yes. Export a CSV from Airtable and upload it. Connecting just saves you the export each time.

Can I combine Airtable with my other data?

Yes. Connect each source, then ask a question that names both.
