Cymple’s card, both sides. Hand it to someone who has a spreadsheet and a question.

What a message looks like, and what comes back

There is no form and no template to learn. The message below is an example we wrote to show the shape. The report beside it is a real one, published in full, with its methods and its code.

Example message

We are losing people and I cannot tell whether it is pay, management, or hours. Attached is our HR export, 1,470 employees, one row each. I need to know which factors actually predict someone leaving, ranked, with some sense of how confident we can be. I have to take this to our board on Thursday, so I need to be able to show my working.

employees.csv
What came back
1,470employees analysed
16.12%attrition rate
0.848logistic model AUC
30.53%attrition among those working overtime

The strongest single predictor was job role, with Sales Representative carrying an odds ratio of 6.23. A separate gradient-boosted model ranked monthly income as the highest-gain feature, so the answer did not rest on one method agreeing with itself.

  • Attrition by segment and by job role
  • Logistic regression odds ratios, and the full coefficient table
  • XGBoost SHAP feature importance
  • Overtime by department heatmap
  • Employee retention survival curve
  • ROC curve for model discrimination

How it works

Three steps, and you only do the first one.

01

Your objective, in plain words

Say what you are trying to decide, not which statistical test you want. Naming the test is welcome but never required.

02

Your data, attached

A spreadsheet or a CSV. If the file is awkward, say so in the message and we will work out what is in it.

03

The analysis, back by email

A report with the method written into it, the code that produced it, and a link you can send to anyone. It stays yours to run again on next month's data.
