LaunchDarkly analytics from your own data
Feature flags and their lifecycle from one LaunchDarkly project, analysis-ready.
What you can learn from your LaunchDarkly data
Once LaunchDarkly is connected, these are the questions your data can answer. Each one has a free tool that shows the method on a sample first.
What data it brings
- flags: Unarchived flags of the project: key, kind, temporary and deprecated flags, tag count, variation count, and created and deprecated dates (no names, descriptions or targeting).
A question you can ask
“How many flags are temporary versus permanent, by kind?”
Ask it in your own words. You get the answer, with the steps that made it.
How to connect it
You connect with a key you create in your LaunchDarkly account. It takes a few minutes.
- In your MCP Analytics account, open Connectors and choose LaunchDarkly. The setup form opens there.
- In LaunchDarkly, open Account settings, find the access tokens section, and create a token with the Reader role.
- Copy the token. Choose your region and type the project key.
- Paste the token into the setup form. The connection only reads data.
LaunchDarkly help page for this step →
We test the connection before we save it, so you know right away if a step was missed.
What we keep, and how to disconnect
We keep the key or login you give us, encrypted, and use it only to read the data you ask about. Other accounts cannot see your connections. To stop, open Connectors in your account and choose Remove on the LaunchDarkly row; that deletes the saved key. You can also cancel the key in LaunchDarkly itself.
Questions
What can I learn from my LaunchDarkly data?
You can see whether version a really beat version b, where people drop off between steps, and what is in the data, and what is missing. Each one has a free tool that shows the method on a sample.
Will this change anything in my LaunchDarkly account?
No. We only read. Nothing in LaunchDarkly is changed.
Can I use a file instead?
Yes. Export a CSV from LaunchDarkly and upload it. Connecting just saves you the export each time.
Can I combine LaunchDarkly with my other data?
Yes. Connect each source, then ask a question that names both.
