Connect Google Search Console
Search performance data - queries, pages, clicks, impressions, CTR, and position rankings.
What data it brings
- search analytics: Search performance - queries, pages, clicks, impressions, CTR, position
- sites: List of verified GSC properties
A question you can ask
“What is the total of clicks?”
Ask it in your own words. You get the answer, with the steps that made it.
How to connect it
You connect with a Google service account you share your property with. It takes a few minutes.
- In your MCP Analytics account, open Connectors and choose Google Search Console. The setup form opens there.
- Go to Google Cloud Console > IAM & Admin > Service Accounts
- Create a service account (or select an existing one)
- Click Keys > Add Key > Create new key > JSON
- Download the .json key file
- In Search Console, add the service account email as a user with Full access

We test the connection before we save it, so you know right away if a step was missed.
What we keep, and how to disconnect
We keep the key or login you give us, encrypted, and use it only to read the data you ask about. Other accounts cannot see your connections. To stop, open Connectors in your account and choose Remove on the Google Search Console row; that deletes the saved key. You can also cancel the key in Google Search Console itself.
Questions
Will this change anything in my Google Search Console account?
No. We only read. Nothing in Google Search Console is changed.
Can I use a file instead?
Yes. Export a CSV from Google Search Console and upload it. Connecting just saves you the export each time.
Can I combine Google Search Console with my other data?
Yes. Connect each source, then ask a question that names both.
